r) consider ratifying Social Security (Minimum Standards) Convention, 1952 (No. 102), Social Policy (Basic Aims and Standards) Convention, 1962 (No. 117) and Equality of Treatment (Social Security) Convention, 1962 (No. 118)

in light of art. 34 and other related articles of CRC
r) strengthen efforts to identify, prevent and combat trafficking in children for sexual and other exploitative purposes, including by:
- introducing necessary changes of criminal and other relevant laws with view to bringing them into full compliance with articles 34 and 35 CRC as well as with OP-CRC-SC
- undertaking studies to assess nature and magnitude of problem
- providing adequate and systematic training to all professional groups concerned
- launching awareness-raising and prevention campaigns targeting in particular children and parents
- seeking assistance from UNICEF, among others

r) accept, as soon as possible, amendment to art. 20, paragraph 1 CEDAW, concerning meeting time of CEDAW

r) ratifying ILO Conventions No. 97 and No. 143 in the near future

r) take additional measures to disseminate information about ICERD and the Committee’s general recommendations, and to implement programmes for prosecutors, judges, the Ombudsperson and lawyers that cover all relevant aspects of ICERD
r) monitor the results of such efforts and to include in its next periodic report detailed statistics on court cases in which ICERD was invoked

r) ratify the amendments to article 8, paragraph 6, of ICERD, adopted on 15 January 1992 at the fourteenth meeting of States parties to ICERD and endorsed by the General Assembly in its resolution 47/111 of 16 December 1992
r) in this connection, the Committee cites General Assembly resolution 61/148, in which it strongly urged States parties to accelerate their domestic ratification procedures with regard to the amendment and to notify the Secretary-General expeditiously in writing of their agreement to the amendment

i) pursuant to rule 70, paragraph 5, of Committee's rules of procedure, forward information within 12 months on implementation of Committee's recommendations regarding:
- measures taken to ensure compatibility with art. 4 of draft law on states of emergency (para. 8)
- investigation of all allegations of torture, prosecution of those responsible and compensation provided to victims, or, as the case may be, their families (para. 10)
- legal and practical measures taken to combat violence against women and trafficking (paras. 15 and 17)
- measures taken to ensure that any restrictions on freedom of expression do not exceed those permissible under art. 19 (3) ICCPR (para. 22)
- measures taken to ensure that general elections adequately reflect popular choice (para. 24)
i) include information concerning remainder of recommendations in third periodic report, to be submitted by 1 November 2005

i) provide in next periodic report:
- detailed information, including statistical data, on practical implementation of legislation and recommendations of Committee, in particular regarding rights of persons under police custody and pre-trial detention, implementation of 1998 Compensation Act or other relevant legislation, implementation of article 3 of CAT, and mandate and activities of Ombudsman
- detailed statistical data, disaggregated by crimes, geographical location, ethnicity and gender, of complaints relating to torture and ill-treatment allegedly committed by law enforcement officials, as well as related investigations, prosecutions, and penal and disciplinary sentences

i) include in third periodic report on implementation of ICESCR all available information on any measures taken and progress made, particularly with regard to suggestions and recommendations made by CESCR in present concluding observations

r) submit third periodic report before 30 June 2009

r) State's reports be made readily available to public from time they are submitted and observations of CERD on these reports be similarly publicized
